Dragana Mitić

Dragana Mitić was born in 1981 in Novi Sad. She graduated from the music school “Isidor Bajić” at the Department of Solo singing in the class of prof. Danijela Jovanović, MA. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Niš in the class of prof. Violeta Pančetović-Radaković. She continued her education upgrading at her master studies at Faculty of Music Arts of the ‘’Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, in the class of Macedonian Opera and Ballet prima donna Vesna Ginovska-Ilkova, MA. As a soloist, she has performed with the Faculty of Arts in Niš Orchestra, Niš Symphony Orchestra, “Amorozo” Chamber Orchestra from Leskovac. She has collaborated with the conductors: M. Injac, Z. Stanisavljević, I. Sarajlić, A. Andrejev. with “Amorozo” ensemble, the concerts at the official opening of “Ledamus” Festival in 2014 and 2017, as well as the concert with flutist Dejan Gavrić at the same Festival in Leskovac in 2021. She has participated in the “Baroque Evening” Festival in Tuzla, as well as concerts in Skopje (Autumn Music Festival), Sarajevo and Vienna as part of the project “Bridges of Music and Friendship”, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. In 2008, together with his colleagues, she founded Chamber ensemble “Trio Grazioso” thus performing successfully, and presenting itself to a wider audience with a series of whole-evening concerts in Serbia. She has been teaching since 2009 as a professor of Solo singing and Chamber music at Music school “Stanislav Binički” in Leskovac. Her students have won numerous awards at international competitions and festivals of Solo singers, as well as at Republic Competition and Republic Festival of Music and Ballet Schools in Serbia. They continued their training at music academies in the country and abroad.

She has participated as a jury member at the following competitions: “Mita Topalović” – Pančevo, “Serbian solo song” – Mladenovac, Festival “Petar Stojanović” – Ub, Republic Festival of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia, Republic Competition of Music and Ballet Schools of Serbia, International Festival “Polihimnia” – Skopje, International competition of solo singers “Nikola Cvejić” – Ruma, International competition “Lav Mirski” – Osijek, Croatia.
