Ad Libitum Chamber Ensemble, consisting of Iva Vićentijević and Strahinja Marković, third-year students in the class of assoc. Prof, Ingrid Janković, won I prize at XII ULJUS International Piano Competition in Smederevo in the category – Chamber Music. These two students are currently at Niccolo Piccinni Conservatory in Bari (Italy) on an exchange as part of the Erasmus project, where they are studying Chamber Music with prof. F. Lotor.
Stefan Dimitrijević wins at International Competition in Montenegro
At 15th International Accordion Competition in Tivat (Montenegro) held on 23rd and 24th May, MAS accordion student Stefan Dimitrijević, in the class of prof. MA Miljan Bjeletić, won in the student category. Stefan Dimitrijević performed at the final concert of the winners of all categories at the competition. The students were judged by a jury of representatives from Serbia, Russia, Italy and Austria.
Stefan Dimitrijević performed in Portugal
As part of 28th International Accordion Week festival in Alcobaça (Portugal), held from 10th to 18th May 2025, MAS accordion student Stefan Dimitrijević in the class of prof. Miljan Bjeletić, MA, held a solo concert as last year’s winner in the two-stage Senior Concertist category. The concert featured compositions by old masters, transcriptions, and works by contemporary authors.
Second prize to Bratislav Djordjević at 11th Pianism Festival in Sremska Mitrovica
Bratislav Djordjević, a fourth-year piano student in the class of DMA Stevan Spalević, associate professor, won II prize (94 points) in VII category at 11th Pianism Festival, which was held from 22nd to 25th May 2025 in Sremska Mitrovica.
BELCANTO – Final Concert of the Laureate
The final concert of soprano Andrea Paić, LAUREATE of I International Solo Singer Competition BELCANTO, was held on 20th May 2025 at 7 pm, in Niš Symphony Orchestra Hall. The piano accompanist, pianist and composer was Dorotea Pavlinić. The audience had the opportunity to hear works by: Robert Schumann, Milan Prebanda, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi and Dorotea Pavlinić.
The organizer of the concert is Niš Cultural Center, while the friend of BELCANTO competition is the Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš. The final concert is one of the prizes within our solo singer competition.
Second Prize to Vasilije Glavašević at 11th Pianism Festival in Sremska Mitrovica
Vasilije Glavašević, a second-year piano student of basic academic studies in the class of DMA Stevan Spalević, associate professor, won II prize (93.67 points) in VI category at 11th Pianism Festival, which was held from 22nd to 25th May 2025 in Sremska Mitrovica.
Solo concert by Stefan Dimitrijević in Belgium
Stefan Dimitrijević, Accordion student of MAS in the class of prof. Miljan Bjeletić, played a solo concert as part of International ART2 Festival, held in Mons (Belgium) from 11th to 13th April. The concert is a reward for his victory at last year’s international accordion competition in Portugal. The program includes works by old masters and contemporary authors.
Recital by Bratislav Djordjević in Novi Sad
Bratislav Djordjević, a fourth-year piano student in the class of DMA Stevan Spalević, Assoc. Prof, gave a recital on 21.05.2025. at 17th World Piano Conference (WPC) which was held from 19th to 23rd May 2025 in the Beckley Hall at Isidor Bajić Music School in Novi Sad. The program included works by J. S. Bach and L. V. Beethoven.
Iva Vićentijević’s participation in the master class of pianist Charlene Farrugia Božac
Iva Vićentijević, a third-year piano student in the class DMA Andrija Mamutović, participated in the master class of pianist Charlene Farrugia Božac. The course was held on 19th and 20th May at Niccolò Picini Conservatory in Bari (Italy), where Iva is currently on an exchange as part of the Erasmus project.
Bratislav Djordjević attends master classes at 17th World Piano Conference in Novi Sad
Bratislav Djordjević, a fourth-year piano student of basic academic studies in the class of DMA Stevan Spalević, Assoc. Prof, was a participant in master classes by pianists Cindy St. Clair and Marian Lee from the United States at 17th World Piano Conference which is being held from 19th to 23rd May 2025 at „Isidor Bajić“ Music School in Novi Sad.
