Students of the Department of Applied Arts of the Faculty of Arts in Niš exhibit posters that are not exclusively a presentation of works on the Poster course, but a kind of platform for mutual dialogue between young authors of different sensibilities, interests and expressions, as well as for the mutual exchange of ideas on given topics. Interests in various media are recognized, from illustration, pictographic stylization, simple drawing, experimental photography and creative techniques.
The exhibited posters are visual messages of theatrical performances, musical events and pictorial identities of the heritage of a country or city. By shifting the context of content and experimenting with poster form, these young authors boldly depict the narratives of theatrical and musical works, as well as the symbolism of a visual tourist guide. The dominant iconography of the exhibited posters strikingly reflects the authors’ personal concepts, innovative processes and authentic artistic expressions, providing a more complete picture of the current cultural and social moment.
The following students of the Department of Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts in Niš, are participating in the poster exhibition: Ana Branković, Ana Mitrović, Anja Janković, Anja Naumović, Danica Stojanović, Danica Ćirić, Miljan Ristić, Dušan Stojković, Ilija Samac, Irena Tasić, Jefimija Stojičić, Jovana Milojević, Kristina Stamenković, Marko Tomić, Mina Živić, Nevena Stojanović, Paulina Aleksić, Sara Bogdanović, Sara Popović, Sara Stojanović, Teodora Nikolić and Vera Nikolić.
