The clarinet students of the Faculty of Arts achieved a notable performance on the international stage by actively participating in the prestigious festival “Apulia Clarinet Fest” in Bari, held under the auspices of the “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory. Under the mentorship of full professor Miloš Mijatović, the following students participated in this significant European event:
Andrija Jašarević, student of III year of undergraduate academic studies
Tingzhimei Fu, Master Academic Studies student
During the multi-day and intensive program, students had the opportunity to improve their performing skills by collaborating with eminent professors and colleagues from music academies from Finland, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, France, Romania and Italy. In addition to attending dynamic masterclasses, the central part of the professional experience for Andrija Jašarević and Tingzhimei Fu was the performance at the final concert in the prestigious Nino Rota Auditorium. As selected members of the international clarinet orchestra (Orchestra Internazionale di Clarinetti), they performed a demanding and attractive artistic program with colleagues from all over Europe.
This participation represents a successful continuation of the international activity and promotion of the performing arts classes of the Faculty of Arts in the European academic and artistic space.
