The opening of the exhibition “DIPLOMA 2017” of Master Academic Studies students at Department of Fine Arts

The opening of the exhibition “DIPLOMA 2017” of Master Academic Studies students at Department of Fine Arts, was held on 5^th July 2017 at 8 pm in the Fortress Pavilion. The main goal of this traditional exhibition, realized by Faculty of Arts in Niš in cooperation with the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Niš, is the presentation of the creative achievements of young artists who have acquired professional education in the field of painting. The exhibition is open until 11^th July 2017. One-year research of visual issues at master academic studies reveals us individual approaches in creating the work of eight authors – Danica Milošević, Marijana Veličkovski, Emilija Novaković, Jovan Spasić, Martina Mitić, Jelena Milosavljević, Aleksandra Simović and Ivana Jovanović. These young creators, under the mentorship of prof. Bratislav Bašić, MA and prof. Katarina Djordjević, MA, incorporated academic knowledge with an analytical and studious approach into a new, personal artistic expression. The exhibition “DIPLOMA 2017” is also announcing successful professional activities of these eight young artists on the current art scene. The exhibition was opened by Jelena Trajković, PhD, Assisstant professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš.
