Anđela Stanković was born in 1993 in Prokuplje. She graduated from the secondary Music School in Niš in the class of Professor Nataša Petrović as the valedictorian and as one of the most successful students of the Music School in Niš, and also graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Niš in the class of Professor Jovanka Aranđelović with a Bachelor’s degree, and then with a Master’s degree. She continued her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she completed her Specialist Academic Studies in Piano in the class of Professor Ljiljana Vukelja.

Her beginning in music was marked by performances on children’s festivals throughout the country, which include the Neka ljubav vlada Srbijom festival in Belgrade. She has participated in, and won awards at, numerous competitions and festivals in Serbia and abroad. A significant success of hers is the second award at the Young Pianist Competition in Barletta, Italy. She is the laureate of the Chamber Music Competition in Kavadarci, North Macedonia, as well as the Young Pianist Competition in Niš in the piano duo category. She has won the first and special award at the competition Donne in Musica, Kragujevac, for her performance of the piece Tajni strah (Secret Fear) with the quartet Belcanto, as well as the Special First Award for the performance of Dora Pejačević’s Ruža (The Rose), in the solo piano category. She has learned from numerous tutors, such as Boris Kraljević, Jurij Kot, Đorđe Milojković, Aleksandra Pavlović, Miša Dacić and Maja Rajković. She has attended baroque music courses. She has received scholarships from the municipality of Prokuplje, from the Republic of Serbia, as well as from the Young Talents Fund – Dositeja.

She has performed as a soloist with the Niš Symphony Orchestra in the NSO Hall with MA Zoran Stanisavljević as the conductor, as well as with the orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Niš at the Kolarac Endowment, with PhD Milena Injac as the conductor. She has released a CD with the help of the publishing center of the Faculty of Arts with the piece Sedam balkanskih igara (Seven Balkan Dances), written by the composer Marko Tajčević, within the project Unapređivanje izvođačkih sposobnosti mladih muzičara (The Improvement of the Performance Competences of Young Musicians), which was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia. In 2019, she has received the Plaque of the University of Niš as the highest accolade as the best graduated student. She is an active solo and chamber music performer and has given all-evening concerts in Serbia and abroad, among which her concerts in the crypt of St. Mark’s Church in Belgrade, in the grand hall of the Kolarac Endowment, as well as concerts in Karditsa, Greece,  and at the International Youth Festival in Balchik, Bulgaria, are particularly significant. She has participated in multiple Erasmus+ youth mobility projects throughout Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Saint Martin in the Caribbean, Turkey, Estonia, Finland, etc.). She is a member of the Academic Choir of the Student Cultural Center of the University of Niš, where she has also performed as an accompanist. She cooperated with the Student Cultural Center on the opera La serva padrona, which was performed throughout Serbia and the Balkan region.

She is employed at the Faculty of Arts in Niš i with the title of Technical Associate for the Piano narrow artistic field at the Department of Solo Singing.
