ANDJELA BRATIĆ

ANDJELA BRATIĆ, MA (1980) graduated at the Music Academy in Belgrade and obtained her MA degree at the University Johannes Gutenberg (Hochschule für Musik) in Mainz, in the class of prof. Dejan Gavrić. She has upgraded her skills at masterclasses with the renowned flutists and pedagogues I. Grafenauer, J. Balint, J. Arnheim and D. Flury. She is a winner of many national and international awards. As a soloist, she has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), the Symphony Orchestra of Radio-Television Serbia, Montenegro Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra from Prague, Niš Symphony Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, the Academic Orchestra of Students, Cultural Centre (SKC) of the University of Niš, the Chamber Orchestra Imperio, under the leadership of the distinguished conductors. She has participated in thec prominent festivals in the country – Niš International Music Festival (NIMUS), the Mokranjac’s Days, the Yew Flower (Tisin cvet), Constantinus, as well as the Chronicle of Bar (Barski ljetopis), the Days of Music, Espressivo in Montenegro and Spectrum in Slovenia. She has performed with great success in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), in Seoul (South Korea), Washington and Charlotte (USA), Tokyo (Japan) and many other counties in Europe. She was also the member of the Mozarteum Orchestra, the Strauss Festival Orchestra and the Balkan Orchestra. These memberships enabled her to perform on tours in Germany, Austria, Spain and Japan. She has recorded for the purposes of Radio Television Serbia, Radio Television Montenegro, Radio-Belgrade, TV stations in Niš, Swedish state radio, Television Montenegro and German TV station SAT1. Since 2009, she has been teaching Flute at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
