ANITA MILIĆ

ANITA MILIĆ (1981), graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Niš in 2005, at the study program of Graphic design. Since 2010, she has been a student of the interdisciplinary doctoral studies at the Department of Theory of Art and Media at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She began her academic career in 2007 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš and since 2012 she has been the Assistant Professor at the subject Graphic Communications. She has won numerous awards. She has participated in the art designs workshop in 2011 as a workshop leader in the applied arts and tourism at the Summer School of Art of the University of Arts in Belgrade. Exhibition activity: Three solo exhibitions and over twenty group exhibitions in the country and abroad. Among the artistic and pedagogical projects, the major ones are: A Public lecture by the art historian, Mirjana Bajić, at the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade, in the cooperation with the Finnish firm Woodnotes and with the examples and a presentation of the author Anita Krstić, exhibited under the title The New forms of the progressive design, within the program the Creative hives at the May exhibition, in 2010. She has won seven awards for the results achieved in the field of graphic design: in 2014, Kortasar 2014, the second place due to the obtained votes for her work; in 2010, Vasarely as the inspiration, I award of the Hungarian Embassy in Belgrade; in 2009, III eco-award of Technical students, club (KST) Belgrade; in 2005- a conceptual design of the visual identity of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš, I prize of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, in 2004, and three I awards for the Visual solution of the program of the CRDA health propaganda. Among the published works, the major ones are: The visual identity of the book, the Monograph Pavle Djokić by the author Srdjan Marković, the press Impresum, Belgrade, in 2012; in 2011 – the pictograms, logos and visual systems in the trilogy Significantly II by Radomir Vuković; in 2010, for The Journal of literature, art and cultureGradina, no. 37, the graphic design of the title page/cover, a new solution for the header of the journal and the illustrations with the reproductions of the works of Anita Krstić, from the author,s solo exhibition The open pyramid – the art of communication, in which there is a section dedicated to her work (p. 259-269).
