Valentina Stanojević, 3rd year flute student in the class of prof. Andjela Danković, MA, won III prize at 22nd International Flutist Festival “Tahir Kulenović” in Valjevo with the piano accompaniment of Nikola Cvetković. The competition was held from 26th to 28th February 2020. Congratulations!
Nadja Staničić, double-bass student in the class of prof. Ljubinko Lazić, MA, performed as a soloist with Amoroso Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, 1st March 2020, at 11 am in Kolarac Endowment Great Hall. She performed the Concert Op. 3 by Sergei Kusevitsky.
Perica Donkov, MA, full professor, will participate in the exhibition “80s and ’90s today – The Rhythm Divine II”, which will be exposed at Belgrade City Museum from 7th to 21st March 2020. In addition to prof. Donkov’s works, works by the following artists will also be exhibited: Aleksandar Rafajlović, Anica Vučetić, Darija Kačić, Dobrivoje Krgović, Dragana Ilić, Djordjije Crnčević, Dragoslav Krnajski, Dušan Petrović, Igor Antić, Marija Dragojlović, Mileta Prodanović, Nina Todorović, Slobodan Kojić, Slobodanka Stupar, Srđan Apostolović, Vladimir Perić, Vladimir Ristivojević and Zdravko Joksimović.
Nemanja Egerić, an associate at the Faculty of Arts, gave a full-length concert with flutist Angelina Nikolić, an alumni of the Faculty of Arts, on Monday, 2nd March 2020 at the Artget Gallery in Belgrade. The program included works by Bach, Carter, Messian, Varez and Schubert.
The traditional concert ” Gift to the Ladies “, organized by the Faculty of Arts and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Branch of SASA in Niš, on the occasion of the opening of Concert Season 2020, will be held on Wednesday, 11th March 2020, at 8 pm in the Faculty of arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a.
Katarina Zadnik, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Department of Music Pedagogy at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana, will be visiting the Erasmus + program at the Faculty of Arts in Niš on Wednesday, 4th March 2020 in order to develop research in the field of music pedagogy and exchange of experiences at the academic level education. As part of the visit, she will give lectures in room no. 12 at the Faculty of Arts: Slovenian concept of music-school education and Creating music as a part of subject “Music Theory” in Slovenia.
Doc. Ksenija Milošević, MA, Assistant professor, performed as soloist with Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, under the conductorship of Gregory Mayerhofer, on Friday, 21st February 2020 at Kolarac Endowment, performing Hristić’s “Symphony Fantasy”. The concert was opened by “The Sad Waltz” by Jean Sibelius, after Hrsitić’s piece the audience heard Schumann’s Manfred Overture, and Lucan Berio’s “Interpretation” from the “Brother Beethoven” cycle closed the program.
Stevan Spalević, Assistant professor, delivered a recital dedicated to 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven at Kruševac Theater on 12th February 2020. The program included sonatas op. 106 “Hammerclavier” and Op. 109 as well as the Bagatelle cycle op. 126 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Milena Rajković, MA, Assistant professor, delivered a solo concert on Thursday, 13th February 2020 at the Belimarković Castle in Vrnjci Spa. She performed Sonata Op. 14 no. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven and Leo Janacek’s cycle “On An Overgrown Path”.
