Piano students in the class of Assoc. prof. DA Stevan Spalević achieved success at the 26^th International Competition of Young Pianists in Šabac, held from 25^th to 27^th March 2022.

Poster by Sara Popović, a master student at the Department of Applied Arts under the mentorship of full prof. DA Slavica Dragosavac and Assistant DA Jovana Nikolić, was chosen among 50 posters on the topic of Tolerance, out of 1420 works received from 45 countries from all over the world. The 6^th International Poster Exhibition “Graphic Stories” opened on 18^th March 2022 as an exhibition part of the 8^th International Conference on Graphic Design and Visual Communications held at Frederick University in Nicosia, Cyprus. From 1^st to 30^th April 2022, the exhibition can be seen at the Col- legi Official de Disseny Grafic de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Congratulations!

An exhibition of works by the Department of Applied Arts students in the field of spatial graphics and illustration will be opened on Tuesday, 29^th March 2022, at 7 pm in the Gallery of Niš Cultural Center. The exhibition will feature works created in the study program Graphic Design, under the mentorship of Assoc. prof. MA Sanja Dević and Assistant DA Jefimija Kocić.

Bratislav Djordjević, the first-year piano student in the class of Assoc. prof. DA Stevan Spalević, won the second prize (93.5 points) in D category at the XIX International Competition “Davorin Jenko” in Belgrade. Congratulations!  

Chamber music students, in the class of prof. spec. Ana Veličković-Igić, achieved notable results at III International Chamber Music Competition “Olivera Djurdjević” in Belgrade.

Piano students in the class of Assoc. prof DA Stevan Spalević achieved success at II Memorial “Sanja Pavlović” in Aleksinac. Congratulations!

The Faculty of Arts in Niš is organizing a master course in solo singing, which will be held by Vojislav Spasić, MA, Associate professor of solo singing at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac. A master class with the topic “Domestic composers, old masters and opera arias” will be held on Saturday, 26^th March and Sunday, 27^th March 2022 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, Kneginje Ljubice st. no. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Andjela Spasić, Bratislav Djordjević, first-year students and Boris Pećanac, third-year piano student, in the class of Associate professor Stevan Spalević, DA, held a concert on 16^th March 2022, in the Crypt of the Church of St. Mark in Belgrade. The program included works by J.S. Bach, J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart, F. Chopin and S. Frank.

At the award poster competition of art faculties students, on the topic “365 days without tobacco” of the Institute of Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut”, the Department of Applied Arts students, under the mentorship of full prof. DA Slavica Dragosavac and assistant DA Jovana Nikolić, won the first and second prize, two accompanying prizes and six participations in the final exhibition. Congratulations!

Marta Pejčić, a student of the Department of Applied Arts under the mentorship of Assoc. prof. Anita Milić, won the 3^rd place in the Competition for the conceptual design of the trademark of the Institute with the logo announced by the Research and Development Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia. Congratulations!
