Promotion of the publication of the Faculty of Arts at the NCC
As part of the Popular Science and Education Program, in the Small Hall of Niš Cultural Centre on Wednesday, 19th May 2021, at 6 pm, the publications of the Faculty of Arts within the program “Work of the faculties of the University of Niš during Covid 19” were presented. Associate professors Danijela Stojanović, PhD and Danijela Zdravić Mihailović, PhD as well as Vesna Gagić spoke about the publications of the Faculty of Arts. The Faculty of Arts presented two monographs, Aesthetic Experience in Music Teaching, authored by Danijela Zdravković Mihailović, and Factors of Achievement in Music Education, by Danijela Stojanović. Printed, electronic and audio editions of the Faculty were also presented. Andjela Danković, MA, full professor spoke about the latest discographic edition.
First prize to Boris Pećanac at 7th Piano Festival in Sremska Mitrovica
Boris Pećanac, a piano student in the class of doc. dr um. Stevan Spalević, DA, Assistant professor won the first prize (95 points) in VI category at the 7th Piano Festival in Sremska Mitrovica. Congratulations!
Editions of the NCC as a gift to the Faculty of Arts
The director of Niš Cultural Center, Srdjan Savić, and Tatjana Milenković, the editor of the science popular program of Niš Cultural Center, presented the Faculty of Arts with a selection of representative editions of Niš Cultural Center on the occasion of “Slavic Literacy Day” in order to preserve language culture and our national and cultural identity based on language and letter.
Concert of the quartet “4G’s” at the festival “Konstantin Iliev” in Bulgaria
Guitar quartet “4G’s” consisting of Stefan Dejanović, Miloš Vuković, Pavle Žarkić and Stefan Milenković, chamber music students in the class full prof. Bratislav Zlatković, held an extremely successful concert, on 13th May 2021, at the chamber music festival “Konstantin Iliev” in the city of Dobrich, Bulgaria under the auspices of the Municipality of Dobrich. The program includes works by 20th century composers originally written for the guitar quartet (Asad, Bellinati, Matsuoka, Zlatković), but also arrangements prepared for this ensemble. One week before this performance, the quartet was awarded the I1 prize in the oldest category at International Internet Competition “Constantine the Great”, and as the only band with the maximum number of points, it was declared the Competition Laureate in this discipline.
First prize and Laureate to Kristijan Vučković at International Competition of Young Pianists in Šabac
Kristijan Vučković, a third-year piano student in the class of Andrija Mamutović, DA, Assistant professor won the I1 award (100 points) in the oldest category at International Competition of Young Pianists in Šabac. He was also declared by the jury- the Laureate of the older categories. Congratulations!
First prizes for chamber music students
At the international online competition in chamber music “Art in Experience”, which was held in Macedonia, chamber music students won three first prizes. The awarded ensembles are the trio “Tres Almas” consisting of Nena Djurić – soprano, Veljko Mihajlović – clarinet and Boris Pećanac – piano in the class of Ingrid Janković, Assistant professor, as well as two bands in the class of full prof. Ana Veličković Igić, trio “VAN” consisting of Vanja Stanojević – flute, Andjela Popović – flute and Nikoleta Marković – piano and trio “Trizmo” Ema Ćoćić – soprano, Damjan Mišić – tenor and Antonina Vukašinović – piano. Congratulations!
Exhibition of works by FU students in the Happy Gallery of SKC Belgrade
An exhibition of works by students of the Department of Applied Arts entitled “By Visual Rhetoric to Identity” will be held at Student Cultural Center Belgrade – Happy Gallery in the period from 13th to 22nd May 2021, as part of the exhibition series “Youth Affirmation / Student Exhibition”. The author of the exhibition is Anita Milić, Associate professor and Miljana Radenković, PhD, Assistant.

The second edition of International Internet Competition “Constantine the Great” begins on Friday, 23rd April 2021, by broadcasting the video premiere of three disciplines. The video premiere of the discipline World music will be broadcast at 12 o’clock (noon), followed by the premiere of the discipline Accordion at 1 p.m, while the video of the discipline Percussions will be broadcast at 2 p.m.
