An exhibition of works by students from the Department of Applied Arts entitled “SPATIAL GRAPHICS” will be opened in the Gallery of the Niš Cultural Center, on Monday, 19th April 2021, at 6 p.m. The exhibited works were realized within the course of Spatial graphics, under the mentorship of Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor and Jefimija Kocić, PhD, Assistant.
Exhibition of contemporary Cyrillic initials of Faculty of Arts students in the gallery in Vranje
An exhibition of works by students from the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts, entitled “From A to Z”, was opened on Friday, 9th April 2021 in the National University Gallery in Vranje. The exhibited sets of Cyrillic initials were created within the course Letter during the previous three academic school years, under the mentorship of Biljana Stanković, PhD, Assistant professor. The exhibition will last until 7th May 2021.
The work of Faculty of Arts students as one of the best in “Europe is here 2021” competition
The interactive art installation of the Faculty of Arts in Niš students was selected as one of the best works in the art competition “Europe is here 2021” organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia and EUINFONET project. The proposal of the interactive installation was conceived by the Department of Applied Arts students: Mina Živić, Jovana Djordjević, Kristina Djurdjević, Aleksandra Stanković, as well as Jefimija Kocić, DA, Assistant, under the mentorship of Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor.
Exhibition of student graphics “Pictograph” in the Art55 Gallery
An exhibition of graphics entitled “Pictograph” by Mina Živić, Natalija Djordjević and Danilo Paunović, students of the Department of Applied Arts, will be opened on 30th March 2021 at the Art55 Gallery in Niš. The exhibition will last until 12th April 2021.
Exhibition GRAPHICS AND DRAWING in the Fortress Pavilion
The exhibition “GRAPHICS AND DRAWING” will be opened in the Fortress Pavilion, on Thursday, 25th March 2021, at 1 pm, in compliance with all prescribed epidemiological measures. The exhibition will be open until 11th April 2021. The main goal and task of this exhibition is to present the current student production of artworks of art from the artistic field of printmaking, connect and motivate students for future achievements, who during their education attend the courses of Printmaking and Drawing at higher education institutions.
Completed Applications for Second International Internet Competition – Constantine the Great
Applications for the second International Internet Competition “Constantine the Great” have been completed. The Competition will be broadcast via the video premiere on the YouTube channel and the Competition website, as well as on the Faculty Facebook page, with a predetermined date and schedule for each discipline. The results will be announced after the completion of the video premiere of the disciplines. The Competition calendar will be published at the beginning of March, when all applications are processed.
First prize to Kristijan Vučković at Competition in Malaysia
Kristijan Vučković, a third-year piano student in the class of Andrija Mamutović, PhD, Assistant professor, won I prize at International Competition organized by “Chopin Society Malaysia”, in the category without the age limit. Congratulations!
The accompanying award to students of the Faculty of Arts and participation in the competition exhibition “Prevention against tobacco”
Students of the Faculty of Arts at the Department of Applied Arts won one accompanying award and three participations in the final exhibition at the award competition for a poster of art students, with the topic “Tobacco Prevention” of the Institute of Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut”. The poster of Nadežda Ristić, a third-year student, was awarded the accompanying award, while the posters of Jovana Milojević, a third-year student, Lazar Nikolić and Djordje Ognjenović, are master students in the selection for the exhibition. Mentor: Slavica Dragosavac, DA, Assistant: Jovana Nikolić. The award competition was announced by the Office for Smoking Prevention in the Center for Health Promotion of the Institute of Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut”, for students of artistic higher education institutions, on the topic “Prevention of tobacco use”. Posters of students of the Department of Applied Arts at the Faculty of Arts in Niš will be exhibited as part of the awarded and selected works of students of art faculties in Serbia.
Exhibition of works by the Faculty of Arts students in NKC Gallery
The collective exhibition of works by the Faculty of Arts in Niš students in the Gallery of Niš Cultural Center entitled “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised Meaning” is opened from 25th December 2020 to 18th January 2021. Students Aleksandra Stanković, Andrijana Stanković, Helena Milošević, Kristina Djurdjević, Marko Tomić, Mila Teokarević, Paulina Aleksić, Sara Popović and Teodora Nikolić are exhibiting their works at the exhibition, realized under the mentorship of prof. Anita Milić within the elective course Graphic Design-basics. The visual identity of the exhibition was realized by Miljana Radenković, DA, Assistant.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development has published the List of categorized scientific journals for 2020. The journal Artefact is referred to as M53 in Table 21 – Categorization of domestic scientific journals for the humanities – history, archeology and ethnology.
