Review exhibition of student works of the Department of Applied Arts in SKC Belgrade, Happy Gallery

The collective exhibition of works by students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts, entitled “Visual Rhetoric to Identity #3” was opened from 18th to 29th May 2023 in Happy Gallery of SKC in Belgrade.

In the Graphic Communications course, the continuous cooperation of teachers, associates and students has produced generations of universal soldiers. Sara Stojanović, Jovana Milojević, Minja Djordjević, Nadežda Ristić, Marta Pejčić, Ana Milenković, Jana Janić and Milica Zdravković are students who are ready to cooperate and already very successful. Their names are crowned with awards and artistic projects. For this reason, they brand themselves through the task of a personal website and present page proposals with a personal stamp, and they design their own success creatively and professionally in order to attract the attention of users and achieve communication. In addition, by the trefoil they successfully represents the visual identity of the October Salon event.

As part of Graphic Communications, motivational slogans of world famous brands are exhibited by Marko Cukavac, Jana Novaković, Andrijana Jovanović, Irena Tasić, Elena Denda, Marija Milosavljević, Ksenija Stanković, Ilija Samac, Nadja Stanisavljević, Danica Ćirić and Nevena Ristić with extremely creative concepts.

The goal of the curriculum of this specialized course is to train students to think independently and carry out the creative process in graphic design, that is, to create future professionals in the field of graphic design. Students confirm the knowledge and skills acquired in Graphic Communications through the realization of specific tasks and other exhibitions/projects under the mentorship of prof. Anita Milić and Assist. DA Miljana Radenković. With this, the Faculty of Arts in Niš is already becoming a recognizable and indispensable brand in the culture of the city, country and region.

The success of solo singing students at XI International Singing Competition “Lav Mirski” in Osijek, Croatia

Students from the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš participated at XI International Singing Competition “Lav Mirski” in Osijek, Croatia, in the period from 5th -7th May 2023.

In the large categories before the foreign jury, students in the class of MA prof. Katarina Simonović Ivanković, Assoc. prof. won the following awards:

* Andjela Nedeljković I prize and winner of the entire II category, 95.33 points,

* Sofija Lazić II prize, 84.66 points, II category,

* Nikola Stamenković, II prize, 83.50 points, III category,

* Hadži Lazar Lazarević, II prize, 86.20 points, V category;

* Pavle Arandjelović, student in the class of Saša Arsenkov, MA, Assistant professor won I prize, 93.33 points, 2nd category.

The piano accompaniment at the competition was by spec. Anita Stanković.

The competition was held in the Academy of Arts and Culture Halls and in Croatian National Theater in Osijek.

Remarkable results of solo singing students at “VIII International Festival Polyhimnia 2023” in Skopje

At the just concluded “VIII International Festival Polyhimnia 2023” in Skopje (MK), which was held in the “Museum of Macedonian Struggle”, on 27th April 2023 in Skopje, students of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, Department of Solo Singing participated and won awards:

 

Two students in the class of prof. MA Saša Arsenkov, Assistant professor:

     Katarina Mihailović, fourth-year student, received I prize in V – C category with a score of 95.33 points,

     Andjela Mladenović, third-year student. received II prize in V – B category with 92.66 points.

 

Two students in the class of prof. Katarina Simonović Ivanković, MA:

     Luka Marković, second-year student. received I prize in V – A category with 99 points,

     Nena Djurić, fourth-year student. won I prize in V – B category category with 96.66 points.

The success of the guitar trio at International festival in Bulgaria

Guitar trio consisting of: Damir Blagojević, Miloš Stojković and Damjan Stanković, students in the class of prof. Bratislav Zlatković, won I prize in the Chamber Music category at 26th International Festival “Academician Marin Goleminov”, which was held from 6th to 9th April 6 2023 in Kystendil, Bulgaria.

First prize for the Faculty of Arts in Niš students at Republic Competition of Chamber music, instrumentalists and solo singers

Under the auspices of the Association of Music and Ballet Pedagogues of Serbia, the Republic Competition of Chamber Music, Instrumentalists and Solo Singers was organized for the 28th time. The competition was held at Stanislav Binički Elementary School in Senjak, Belgrade. The string quartet Perdendosi, consisting of students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš students, took part in this prestigious competition: Aleksa Spasić – violin, Tijana Filipović – violin, Andjela Dugonjić – viola and Nenad Ilić – cello. The Perdendosi String Quartet attends classes in the class of Aleksandar Jakovljević, MA, full professor. The ensemble performed in V category, Chamber Music, and won I prize (95).
