A new issue of the magazine “Artefact” on the Faculty of Arts website
A new issue of the magazine “Artefact” on the Faculty of Arts website
Artefact is an artistic-scientific-professional journal of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, which publishes scientific and professional papers in the field of music, art, applied and dramatic arts, philosophy, psychology, sociology, aesthetics, theory and history of art and anthropology, as well as pedagogical and psychological research in art and reviews of monographic publications. Just as artistic artifacts, metaphorically speaking, shape history and portray the past, so this magazine is intended for scientists, artists and educators and their exchange of knowledge, experiences and information through the medium of the written word.
The journal Artefact is designed as a form of communication that allows authors to revive their studies carefully planned, designed, methodologically and conceptually based research, and the very idea of the journal is to rely on science to show and show all complex and diverse art forms within different societies and diverse historical moments. Hence the need for this journal, which aims to convey to the widest possible audience important new knowledge from a range of relevant scientific perspectives, publishing the results of scientific research and empirical experiences of reference authors. Our goal is to be interdisciplinary, encouraging dialogue with scientists working within the artistic, performative or humanistic domain, while providing researchers from different scientific traditions that have applied to art the opportunity to learn from each other. In short, our goal is to publish research from all those scientific perspectives and disciplines that can contribute to a better understanding of art. ” – Editorial Board
