Award-winning solo singing students at the XXII International Solo Singer Competition “Lazar Jovanović” in Belgrade

From 28^th  to 31^st May 2026, XXII International Solo Singer Competition “Lazar Jovanović” was held at the National Theater in Belgrade, Serbia. Students from the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, from the Department of Solo Singing in the class of MA Katarina Simonović Ivanković, participated.

In the second category, in strong competition with mature singers, competitors, and in front of eminent jury members, the students achieved significant results:

Sara Stojković, first year student – I PRIZE (94.2 points) and

Luka Marković, MAS – II PRIZE (81.6 points).

Piano accompaniment at the International Competition “Lazar Jovanović” was provided by pianist Staša Stamenković, piano associate at the Department of Solo Singing, Faculty of Music.
