Award-winning solo singing students from the Faculty of Arts in Niš at the international competition “Lav Mirski” in Osijek (Croatia)

At 14^th International Singing Competition for Solo Singers “Lav Mirski” in Osijek, at the Academy of Arts and Culture of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University, Croatia, from 8^th  to 10^th  May 2026, 3 first-year students of the UAS from the Department of Solo Singing of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, in the class of Katarina Simonović Ivanković, MA prof.

Among 120 participants in the competition from Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia and other countries, the performance of our students was notable and very significant. They presented themselves well and achieved the following results:

I PRIZE – Ksenija Stojiljković, soprano (II category, 93.00 points – the best among girls in the entire category);

II PRIZE – Iva Ilić, soprano (II category, 80.00 points);

I PRIZE – Sara Stojković, soprano (III category, 94.25 points);

I PRIZE – for the performance in VI category “Opera Ensembles”: Sara Stojković and Ksenija Stojiljković (92.00 points).

The piano accompaniment was by spec. Anita Stanković, piano associate at the Department of Solo Singing.
