Mina Mendelson, DA, Associate professor will perform on Tuesday, 28th January 27 2020, at a concert called “Portraits and Memories” (dedicated to the memory of Holocaust victims), as part of III Rossi Fest at the National Theater in Belgrade (stage Raša Plaović). Mina Mendelson – violin, Nikola Djurica – clarinet, Pavle Savić – cello and Vanja Šćepanović – piano will perform Quartet pour le fin du temps by Olivier Messiaen.
Mihailo Dašić received the City of Niš Diploma
Mihailo Dašić, a guitar student in the class of prof. Vesna Petković, was awarded the Diploma to the best student in 2019 by the Faculty of Arts in Niš for exceptional success during his studies, which was presented to him by City Mayor Darko Bulatović at a ceremony at the City Hall.

Ana Kazimić’s composition at the World New Music Days in New Zealand
Ana Kazimić, DA, Assistasnt, has been selected by the commission of the Association of Composers of Serbia as a proposal to the ISCM (International Society for Contemporary Music) competition committee for the World New Music Days festival to be held in April 2020, at New Zealand, Auckland. In addition to being the only composer from Serbia at this festival, Ana will also be a delegate to the UKS (Association of Composers of Serbia) at the ISCM General Assembly meetings, which will take place during the festival in Auckland.

Anita Milić and Sanja Dević, MA in the jury of 56th Book Fair in Niš
Anita Milić, Associate professor and Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor, participated in the work of the Jury of PRINT Award at 56th Niš Book Fair, held on 2nd-8th December 2019 at the Čair Sports Hall. Three PRINT awards are given for the aesthetic treatment of the book, the technological treatment of the book and the intemedial treatment of the book.
Miloš Mijatovic is the first clarinetist of the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra to tour China
Miloš Mijatović, spec, Associate professor, at the invitation of conductor Elisabetta Fuchs and the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra, performed as the first clarinetist on an international tour in China called “Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra China Tour 2020” in honor of the 250th anniversary of the birth of composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
Acknowledgments from City municipality Palilula to the students and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts
At the ceremony on the final activities of the Action Plan for the Gender Equality Strategy of the City municipality Palilula Niš, the works of Stefana Jovanović, Aleksandra Ristić and Jelena Simić from the Department of Fine Arts, Natalija Djordjević, Teodora Nikolić and Mina Živić from the Department of Applied Arts were presented, with the aim of promoting and education on gender equality. Acknowledgments were given to the students as well as to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, prof. Suzana Kostić, PhD, for supporting the implementation of the “Strategy for the Advancement of Gender Equality” by City municipality Palilula Niš in 2019.
