The works of Anastasija Kocić and Mihailo Golubović, the third year students of the Department of Applied Arts, entered the selection of the first seventeen, at the international poster competition for posters of the Games Summer Academy of the Festival of Art and Independent Games in Poland. Mentor: Slavica Dragosavac, MA, Jovana Nikolić, assistant. The festival took place in the Polish city of Cesin, on 12^th and 13^th June 2018. The festival co-organizers are the Swedish University of Katowice (Poland), the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and the University of Sv. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava (Slovakia).

In the framework of the cooperation between the Faculty of Arts in Niš and the Museum in Ćuprija, “Horeum Margi-Ravno”, lasting for several years, on Friday, 13^th July 2018, at 7 pm, an exhibition of graphic sheets of all levels students of the Department of Fine Arts and Department of Applied Arts was opened. After the introductory speech of the Museum director, Novak Novaković, the exhibition was presented to the audience and officially opened by the full professor Bojan Živić, MA. The exhibition will be open until 2^nd August, 2018.

Milena Rajković, MA an assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, held a solo concert on Tuesday, 10^th July 2018, in the Dominican monastery in Bol, Brač, Croatia. The program consists of compositions by composer Božidar Kunc and duo Dejan Mesec, accordion and Marta Kržič, piano from Slovenia performed as guests.

The exhibition of works by students of undergraduate academic studies of the Department of Applied Arts under the title “WITH GRAPHIC DESIGNERS ON – YOU” will be opened at the Cultural Center in Leskovac Gallery on Friday, 13th July 2018, at 7 pm. Works from the Graphic Communication course, under the mentorship of Anita Milić, Assistant professor and Miljana Radenković, PhD, Assisstant, will be exhibited.

The official opening of the solo exhibition “Study of the Paradox” by Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, will be held on 13th July 2018 at 7 pm in the Niš Cultural Center Gallery. The exhibition will last until 24th July 2018.

The exhibition of the doctoral art project “Multioriginal” by Slavica Dragosavac, MA, an associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, will be opened on 2^nd July 2018 in the Graphic Collective Gallery in Belgrade.

The doctoral art project “MULTIORIGNAL Redefining B2 Formats in New Graphic Forms” is based on a review of the poster form use as an open starting point for exploring the positions of conceptual changes in the press media as a place for experimental art practice.

Vesna Petković, MA, on the occasion of the Competition for the appointment to the title and the position of an associate or full professor for the Narrow Artistic field – Guitar, with the piano accompaniment of Olga Ljahova Petrović, will be held on Monday, 2^nd July 2018, at 4:30 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a.

Macedonian artists – Strašo Temkov, a flutist, one of the most successful Macedonian musicians of his own generation and Mile Karovski, a talented guitarist, will hold a concert on Friday, 29^th June 2018 in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The entrance to the concert is free.

An electoral concert by Jovanka Arandjelović, MA, on the occasion of the Competition for the appointment to the title and the position of an associate or full professor for the Narrow Artistic field – Piano, will be held on Friday, 29^th June 2018, at noon in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a.
