Denis Džaferi, II year clarinet student in the class of prof. Miloš Mijatović, won II place in category V at XV International Competition of Wind instruments in Požarevac. Congratulations!

The concert of Marina Trajković-Bidžovski, soprano and Dušan Toroman, pianist will be held on Thursday, 24^th May 2018, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The program will feature compositions of Schuman, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. The entrance to the concert is free.

VI International Student Complementary Piano Competition will be held in Niš from 26^th to 28^th May 2018, during which concerts of eminent pianists will take place.

In a great competition and with the unanimous jury decision, Students Cultural Centre Female Choir of the Niš University, under the conductorship of Ivana Mirović, MA, won I prize at the International Choir Competition in Romania, which was held from 18^th May  to 20^th May in the city of Pitesti. Congratulations!

Within the VI International Student Complementary Piano Competition, lectures will be organized, which will be held on Friday, 25^th May 2018, at 1 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom. Lectures will be delivered by Tatiana Shurev, PhD on the topic “Music as a tool of 21^st Century Culture Education in the USA” and Irena Kofman, PhD on the topic “Differences between Russian and American Schools in the Approach to Teaching Piano”. The entrance is free.

Miloš Vuković, a guitar student in the class of Vesna Petković, MA, won I prize in the student category at International “Pannonia” Guitar Festival in Pančevo, which was held on 19^th May 2018. Congratulations!

Mihailo Dašić, Pavle Žarkić (category VI) and Vladimir Pecarski (category VII), guitar students in the class of Vesna Petković, MA, won II prizes at XIV International “Naissus Guitar” Festival, which was held from 17^th May to 20^th May 2018 in Niš. A special award – solo concert at International Guitar Festival “Academician Marin Goleminov” in 2019 in Kyustendil in Bulgaria was awarded to Mihailo Dašić. Congratulations!

Students of chamber music, in the class of prof. Bratislav Zlatković, won valuable awards in the category of Chamber music at XIV International “Naissus Guitar” Festival, which was held from 17^th May to 20^th May 2018 in Niš. Congratulations!

Slobodanka Pajić, MA Assistant Professor at Complementary Piano Department, will hold a full-length concert at the Music School “Stevan Mokranjac” in Zaječar, on Thursday, 24^th May 2018, at 7 pm. The compositions of V. Mokranjac, A. Skriabin and C. Debussy will be performed as the program.
