This year’s Faculty Day was celebrated on 22nd December in the Faculty of Arts Concert – Exhibition Hall attended by the employees, awarded students and awarded members of the collective, retirees and Faculty management, in the specific conditions dictated by the pandemic at the global level. An exhibition of works by teachers and associates of the Department of Applied Arts and the Department of Visual Arts has been set up in the Faculty of Arts Concert – Exhibition Hall.

A welcoming speech was given by the Faculty of Arts Dean, prof. Milena Injac, DMA; together with the dean, commendations to the awarded students were distributed by the vice-deans: prof. Ivan Novaković, MA, Vice Dean for Teaching, prof. Jovan Bogosavljević, MA, Vice Dean for Artistic and Scientific Work, prof. Miroslav Živković, MA, Vice Dean for Finance and prof. Katarina Djordjević, MA, Vice Dean for Quality and International Cooperation.

The Faculty Plaque laureates are prof. Miroljub Djordjević, MA, academic painter- for the artistic support to the Faculty of Arts students and professors through the selfless donation of the collection of the glyptotheque and painting props, prof. spec. Dragiša Balanesković, retired professor- for the support to the Faculty of Arts students and professors concert activities, prof. Ivan Jelić, retired professor- for outstanding pedagogical results and student awards at competitions and the Faculty of Arts Student Service- for outstanding work results.

The best graduate students at undergraduate academic studies are Paulina Aleksić (9.86 – Graphic Design), Jovana Djurić (9.76 – Painting), Nataša Jović (9.52 – Music Theory and Pedagogy), Nina Lazović (9.80 – Wind instruments, Flute), Mihailo Dašić (10.00 – Guitar). The best graduate students at master academic studies are Katarina Božić (10.00 – Performing Arts, Piano), Katarina Mančić (10.00 – Performing Arts, Piano), Ivana Dunjić (9.79 – Painting), Mina Živić (9.87 – Graphic design), Marija Čikić (10.00 – Performing arts, Violin), Nina Stanojević (10.00 – Performing arts, Piano) and Luka Arandjelović (10.00 – Performing arts, Guitar). Commendations and special diplomas were awarded to students for outstanding achievements in competitions, as well as, for the first time- commendations- for an average study score of over 9.00 and studies completed as soon as possible.

The Faculty awards were received by full prof. Miomira Djurdjanović, PhD, Assoc. prof. Bratislav Bašić, MA, Assoc. prof. Miron Mutaović, MA, Assoc. prof. Anita Milić, Assoc. prof. Katarina Simonović-Ivanković, MA, Assist. prof. Saša Arsenkov, MA, Snežana Mirković, Dušica Radonjić, Vladimir Stanimirović, Andjela Vujačić, Miodrag Obradović, Danijela Mihailović and Jelena Petrović.

At the Celebration Academy, the following students performed: a chamber trio in the class of prof. Dragana Djordjević, MA, with Jovana Jovanović- flute, Marinko Andrejić- violin and Andrija Djordjević- guitar, solo singing students Andjela Mladenović and Lazar Lazarević, in the class of Assoc. prof. Katarina Simonović-Ivanković, MA and Assist. prof. Saša Arsenkov, MA with piano accomopaniment by Jelena Deljanin-Aleksić, MA, as well as piano student Kristijan Vučković- in the class of Assist. prof. Andrija Mamutović, DMA.
