Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor was awarded a commendation by the jury for the works in the category of Applied Arts at XV International Biennial of Miniature Art in Gornji Milanovac. The commendation was given by an international jury composed of: Monica Miller, President (Germany), Sofia Ječina (Russia) and Božidar Plazinić (Serbia). The jubilee XV International Biennial of Miniature Art – the largest and most comprehensive small-format exhibition was presented to the world public on 6th June 2020 in the Cultural Center Modern Gallery in Gornji Milanovac. This time, the Cultural Center as the exhibition organizer presented 689 works signed by 423 authors from 27 countries: Germany, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Slovenia, Poland, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Great Britain, Israel, Croatia, Finland, Greece, South Africa, Canada, Montenegro, Belarus, South Korea, Australia, Northern Macedonia, Austria, Romania, Argentina, Estonia, Japan, Chile, Russia and Serbia. The selection committee composed of: Božidar Plazinić, president, Sanja Filipović, and Djordje Stanojević, selected only original works for the exhibition, created in the last two years, which were evaluated as works of high artistic and professional scope.
