DANIJELA ILIĆ

DANIJELA ILIĆ, Ph.D (1966) graduated in 1992 at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje at Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy. She obtained her MA degree in 1996 with a thesis The role and importance of the code in the logical organization of the music forms in Beethoven,s works. In 2008, she obtained her Ph.D degree with a thesis The Suite in XIX and XX centuries, by the unanimous approval of twenty – members, jury at the State Music Academy Pančo Vladigerov in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the class of prof. Penča Stojanov. She finished her specialization in 2007 at the Faculty EPTE in Rome, Italy, at Department of Musicology, with a theme Maurice Ravel – a concert for the left hand and orchestra, in D-major. From 1995, she worked at Music College in Niš for the subjects History of music and Musical forms, in title of a senior lecturer. Since 2003, she has worked in title of the Assisstant Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, for the subject Musical forms. She is the founder of the International symposium of composers, musicologists, ethnomusicologists and music theoreticians, which has been held in Sokobanja since 2005. She is the author of a textbook The Music forms of expression (Nota, Knjaževac) in 2002, and in 2008 she published her specialistic work with the theme Maurice Ravel – the concert for the left hand and orchestra, in D-major, (Punta, Niš). In 2008, she also published the Monography Serbian suite and its place in the national and European music traditions, (Dimi 99, Sofia, Bulgaria). She has been a participant of numerous professional seminars and conferences in the country and abroad (the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Russia).
