DRAGIŠA BALANESKOVIĆ

DRAGIŠA BALANESKOVIĆ, SPEC. (1953)  finished Music College in Niš and graduated at the Faculty of Music Arts in Priština. He finished his post-graduate specialist studies in Chamber music at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, in the class of Uroš Pešić, PhD. He was the Assistant and then a teacher at the main subject – Violin at Music College in Niš. From 2003, he was the Assistant at the subject Violin, and since 2007 he has worked at the subject Orchestra sections, currently in title of the Assistant Professor. From 1990-2007, he worked at the Symphony Orchestra, during some period as a deputy of a concert-maestro. Awards and achievements: The Diploma 14th October, for the contribution to the city music opus; As a participant of the protest and humanitarian concerts for peace, he has performed in the country and abroad. He has held 27 solo-concerts, 27 concerts as a member of the string trio, 140 concerts as the first violin of the string quartet. He also performed the concerts as a member of the string chamber orchestras and as a member of the Symphony Orchestra (as a tutist, a deputy of a concert-maestro and a concert-maestro). He has been a member of the International orchestra in Israel, performing in Jerusalem in 2012. and 2013. He also took part in preparing the orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Niš for the performance of the Strauss operetta The Bat. He has been the conductor of the Church choir in Niš for more than 40 years.
