Exhibition of Faculty of Arts in Niš students, on the occasion of Students, Day organized by Student Cultural Center in Niš, was officially opened on Wednesday, 22nd March 2017, in the University of Niš hall.
“The Faculty of Arts in Niš is the youngest faculty of the University of Niš, but its activity has undergone significant successes and profound changes during its history. For this reason, and on the occasion of marking the University of Niš Students’ Day, on 22nd March, an exhibition of student works was realized at Graphic Design study program, Department of Applied Arts of the Faculty of Arts in Niš. The exhibition is the integration of this study program three main subjects – Spatial Graphics, Poster and Graphic Communications. Graphic design is important because the creation of symbolic representations of human thoughts and their exchange is based on human communication. It relates primarily to what is a key feature of culture – the exchange of knowledge and meaning by message. In other words, the process of knowledge transfer and the dialogue creation are two basic segments for creating a public exchange of opinions and attitudes. Anita Milić, Asst. prof.
