The publishing and literary scene of Niš is presented at this year’s 63rd International Book Fair in Belgrade as a city-guest. The city of Niš will have a special exhibition stand in Hall 4, throughout the Fair (21-28.10.2018). At the City of Niš stand, the Faculty of Arts presents its editions within the presentation of the University of Niš publishing. The Faculty of Arts promotion of the editions is scheduled for Friday, 26th October 2018, from 3 pm in the hall “Branko Miljković”. Such a performance by publishers and writers from Niš means a great return to the cultural scene of Serbia, after many years in which Niš was inadequately present both at the book fair in Belgrade and in the publishing scene of Serbia. During the past decades, Niš publishing houses such as “Gradina” and “Prosveta” enjoyed great reputation. At this year’s fair, the following Niš publishers are present: Niš Cultural Center, Center for Ecclesiastical Studies, Diocese of Niš, Student Publishing Center, University of Niš with the Philosophy, Faculty of Natural and Mathematical sciences, Faculty of Arts, the SASA Branch in Niš, and the University Library “Nikola Tesla”, private publishers Medivest, Svitac, Vrane, Branko Plavšić Association …
