An independent exhibition of Jelena Trajković, Assist. professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš was opened by curator Dragica Vuković and director Mihailo Petković on Thursday, March 1st, 2018, at 7pm, in the Belgrade Gallery of Sales. On this occasion, the latest series of works united under the title “Whirlpool, life, game – moving pictures – look back” was exhibited. The Belgrade audience will be able to see the images in space, a composition made in a combined technique (wood, polycarbonate films, digital printing). The setting of this composition made of 11 large-format images on the gallery walls, together with the light builds a unique whole of the open spiral. Apart from this whole, 20 drawings on paus paper will be exhibited, representing preparing for a large composition performance. ​​Jelena Trajković,s idea path from the beginning to the final realization is examined from these works of smaller format. The dance movement from the beginning of the modern to the present is the author,s inspiration, elaborating the motive of the female figure movement by putting emphasis on the line, while the doubled shadow emphasizes the composition dynamics. The exhibition for all visitors was opened until March 20th, 2018.
