JELENA DELJANIN ALEKSIĆ

JELENA DELJANIN ALEKSIĆ, MA (1978), finished her bachelor and MA studies at the Faculty of Arts in Priština, in the class of prof. Dragoslav Aćimović. She achieved her first success in the competitions in the country and abroad. She was the winner of the award A distringuished student for the outstanding results during her studies. She has attended the master classes with the world-class pianists and pedagogues: N. Starkman, J. Čugajev, A. Kurtev, S. Kilstrom. She has performed as a soloist with various chamber ensembles in the country, but has also presented herself to the audience of Italy, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Greece. She has participated in the important festivals Niš International Music festival (NIMUS), The Young Virtuosi (Bulgaria), The First Piano festival – Kyustendil (Bulgaria), 30thInternational Festival – Karditsa (Greece), the International Music FestivalConstantinus. She participated in the project at the National Concert Season(2008) implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia. She has premiered Haydn,s Concert for a Piano and a Violin in F-major with the orchestra Constantinus in Niš, Skopje and Sliven (2009). Within the international celebration of 200th anniversary of the birth of Fredrik Chopin in the Polish Institute in Sofia (2010), she was the only representative from Serbia. She has recorded for the purposes of Nis TV and radio stations. She has been working at the Faculty of Arts in Niš since 2002 and from 2014, she is in title of a Senior artistic associate at the Department of Solo-singing.
