The architect and designer Radomir Vuković, gave a lecture on Friday, 19th April 2013 at the Hall 8 of the University of Niš. “The last phase of the great research work realized by the architect and designer Radomir Vuković, included the collection of works by designers from this region. At the time of general globalization, this approach was aimed at cumulative understanding of domestic designer production. There are more than 300 authors, i.e. over 620 of the alphabet, numbers, logos, pictograms and visual systems created during this period. The idea of collecting and presenting the papers of our graphic designers was established on the grounds of the authority and the extensive editor,s documentation of the journal KVADART, edited and published by Radomir Vuković from 1992 to 2006. The capital edition ZNAKOVITO, which contains 2500 characters of graphic communication, published in three volumes in 2002, was awarded with Pavle Vasić reward in 2002 as a publishing project of the year, which was more than supportive for its author. Vuković continued collecting works, and his collection currently consists of over 6,000 items. It is interesting to note that the set of journals Kvadart can be found in the Congress Library in Washington, USA.”
