MARIJA RAJKOVIĆ

MARIJA RAJKOVIĆ, MA (1971) finished her bachelor studies in Belgrade, in the class of Jovan Kolundžija and her master studies in the class of the eminent pedagogue Dejan Mihailović. She has ben the winner of several national and federal prizes. She got the Tito,s scholarship at the age of 5, the national scholarship for the young talents. She won several Mokranjac prizes and the city of Niš Prizes for the concert activity. She performed for the first time at the age of 11 as a soloist accompanied by the Niš Symphony Orchestra and realized the remarkable solo performances within Niš International Music Festival (NIMUS). She has performed as a soloist with the conductors: Sandro Zaninović- several times, Zoran Stanisavljević, Svilen Simeonov–Bulgaria, Milena Injac, Vanča Cavdarski and Vesna Šouc. She has performed with the pianists: Nada Kecman, Svetlana Dejanović-Avramović, Jovanka Kerković, Đorđe Milojković, Srboljub Dinić, Ljubinka Kostović, Laul Indrek, Juko Akas, Istra Pečvari, Sanja Petrović, Bojan Mladenović, Stevan Spalević etc. She is the member of the Music Artists Association of Serbia. Since 2003, she has worked as a pedagogue at the Faculty of Arts in Niš as the Assisstant Professor at the main subject- Violin.
