Milica Jovanović, MA

Milica Jovanović, MA (1994) graduated in 2016 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš at the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy. She finished her master studies in Niš in 2018, at the Faculty of Arts, at the study program for music theory and pedagogy and gained an academic title – master art theoretician. She won the October Award of the City of Leskovac for exceptional results achieved during her studies at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, as well as for the development and promotion of musical art in Leskovac (2017). She is the scholarship holder of the Dositej Fund for young talents of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Fund for young talents of the Youth office of the City of Leskovac at undergraduate and master studies. She participated in scientific forums in Montenegro and Serbia (SIMPED, BALKAN ART FORUM) where she presented works in the field of music pedagogy. She is the author of the paper published in the scientific journal Artefact of the Faculty of Arts in Niš. She has been the artistic associate of the city children’s choir Stars from Leskovac; She is engaged on the online music education platform Meet the music. Since November 2018 she has been working as an associate for the narrow professional area – Solfeggio at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. Her areas of interest include: solfeggio, methodology of solfeggio teaching research and development of innovative methodologies and inclusive education.
