MILJANA RADENKOVIĆ

MILJANA RADENKOVIĆ (1989), graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Niš, at the Study program – Graphic Design, in 2012. In 2013, she obtained her MA degree at the same faculty. She is currently at her doctoral studies, at Department of Applied Arts and Design, University of Applied Arts in Belgrade. During her education, she has been a holder of the scholarship by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia and the Fund for the young talents Dositej. She works as an Assistant for the artistic field – Graphic Design, Graphic Communications at Department of Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts in Niš. Of a number of realized projects and published works in the field of graphic design, the following are prominent: a photograph on the theme of Poverty-re:action? published in a special issue of the magazine Lice ulice, on the occasion of the International Day of the battle against Poverty, a preliminary design of one of the memorial fountains within the project 17 fountains for 17 centuries of the Edict of Milan in Niš; the poster Water is Life, published in the Journal of Literature, Art and Culture, Gradina; cover design for the monograph Half a century of the University of Niš, visual identity for 50 years of the University of Niš, visual identity for Forum for Applied Ethics of Center for Scientific Research work of SASA and University of Niš (SANU); visual identity 50 Years of Scouting in Bela Palanka of a Scout unit Remizijana; visual identity The Team for the fledglings and the bees of the Scouts Association of Serbia etc. She received several awards in the field of applied arts and graphic design, including: First prize at Palette of Youth 2015 in Vrbas and Third prize in the category of Poster design at PDP Conference 2014 in Novi Sad. She has exhibited in ten solo and more than seventy group exhibitions in the country and abroad. She is a member of ULUPUDS since 2015.
