She comes from a musical family. She has finished Secondary music school, Solo singing Department in the class of prof. Gordana Milošević in Niš. In 2005, she enrolled in Bachelor Academic Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, in Solo Singing study program, in the class of Violeta Pančetović Radaković, MA. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2011. In 2016, she enrolled in specialist academic studies at the Academy of Music in Belgrade, in Solo Singing study program, in the class of MA Violeta Pančetović Radaković.
She has been teaching since 2011. She worked at music schools “Stanislav Binički” as a professor of Solo singing, Chamber music and Jazz singing in the period from 2011 to 2022, as well as at Music school “Stevan Mokranjac” in Vranje.
Since 2021, she has been actively working as a professor of Solo Singing, Chamber Music and Sight-reading at Music School in Niš.
In 2012 and 2014, she was a jury member at the competition of solo singers “Mita Topalović” Pančevo, and in 2016, a jury member of International Festival of Music School “Petar Stojanović” Ub.
The career focus of prof. Nada Nikolić’s pedagogical work and love for working with students is shown by the large number of students who achieve visible results with her, in continuity, and who successfully and with great desire continue their education crowning their work, knowledge and skills with numerous awards and performances. In the period from 2011 to 2024, students of prof. Nada Nikolić achieved significant results by winning over 60 awards and recognitions at domestic and international competitions and festivals.
Devoted to her profession, apart from her pedagogical work, prof. Nada Nikolić enriches her artistic activity with a series of performances and concerts. Just some of them are the performances with Niš Symphony Orchestra and in Belgrade performing the aria “Santuce” from the opera “Cavalleria Rusticana” as well as at the New Year’s concert with Niš Symphony Orchestra in 2012. She has performed as a soloist accompanied by the Academic Choir of the University of Niš at “Musical Edict” festival and the celebration of the University of Niš Day. She has also had successful collaborations with numerous conductors from Serbia such as Dejan Savić, Suzana Kostić, Milena Injac, Miroslav Ivanković, Zoran Stanisavljević, as well as with conductors from abroad – Le Fi FI (Vietnam), Svilen Simeonov (Bulgaria).
Since 2013, she has been an active participant in the Faculty of Arts in Niš project performing in the operetta “The Bat” in the role of Count Orlofski. She has performed with the ensemble in Niš and Belgrade. In 2014, she participated in the ceremonial opening of “Ledamus” music festival in Leskovac, performing the musical piece “Gloria” by Antonio Vivaldi. Also, she has been an active participant in the master class of professor emeritus Radmila Bakočević and a performer at the final concert. In 2016, she participated in the project of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš in the role of Berta in the opera “The Barber of Seville”. In addition, she has had a number of performances with Niš Symphony Orchestra at humanitarian concerts, and she has performed concerts with the Chamber orchestra “Amoroso” from Leskovac, in Tuzla (B&H), Skopje (Macedonia) and East Sarajevo (B&H). In 2016, she was a participant in the master course for solo singers – at the Endowment of Ilija M. Kolarac, Master Class by opera accompanist Djorđe Nešić.
Nada Nikolić’s concert activity also includes piano recitals. The recital program entitled “EMOTIONS” consists of representative works of old masters, musical baroque, romanticism, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, Slovenian and domestic composers, with which she is present on the music scene in Serbia and has achieved a large number of successful performances.
She is a member and founder of the Chamber ensemble “TRIO GRAZIOSO” (two voices and a piano), with which she has had significant performances in the cities of Serbia. Thus, in 2007, at Chamber Music Festival in Belgrade, “TRIO GRAZIOSO” received the best reviews and the opportunity to perform at the final concert of the most successful ensembles in Kolarac Endowment Great Hall. Their cooperation marked by concerts was within the period from 2008 to 2018. She has also collaborated with the vocal ensembles “Libero” from Leskovac and “Konstantin” from Niš.
Prof. Nada Nikolić also shows interest in other vocal activities, as well as different musical directions, so since the age of 16 she has participated in many festivals, receiving awards for the best vocal soloist, awards for interpretation, and as a peak of those performances, the award “THE FIRST VOICE OF SERBIA”, in 1997 at the singer competition organized by Radio Belgrade and Radio Diffusion Agency of Serbia. Thanks to that award, she has saved the best original songs from oblivion by making permanent recordings for Radio Belgrade and RTV Banja Luka. The fruit of this collaboration is the album entitled “PESMO MOJA” (MY SONG) published by PGP RTS, which was edited in December 2016. The album preserves the beauty of traditional songs and enhances it with new original songs created in the spirit of true folk music. Prof. Nada has also participated in filming the series “60 of the most beautiful folk songs” organized by RTS. She has cooperated with RTS National Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Vlada Panović, RTS National Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Siniša Vićentijević, RTV Big National Orchestra under the direction of Mića Janković and RTV Tambourine Orchestra under the direction of Dubravko Isakov. Her love for traditional music and desire to preserve its beauty is reflected in a series of performances and guest appearances in shows across the country.
