NENAD STOŠIĆ

NENAD STOŠIĆ, MA (1963), a professional instructor, began his pedagogical work in 1988 and from 1990 worked as a Senior lecturer at the subject Practicum at the Music School in Niš. Since 2000, he has worked at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. From the concert activity, his prominent performances has been in Skopje, where he has played the works of L. van Beethoven–the Sonatas, the third concert for a piano and orchestra op. 37 ce-minor, J. Brahms–the preludes opus 116 and 117. As a choral accompanist, he has performed in the cities of Serbia, Slovenia and the Republic of Srpska. During 2013 and 2014 he held several educational concerts (Musical Mosaic) in several Elementary schools in Niš, where he played classical music pieces as well as his own author compositions. His students took part in the Third contest, Theoretical Department – the piano in Niš, where they has won the first, the second and the third prize, as well as the sixth open competition, Theoretical Department – the piano, also in Niš, where they won three second awards. He has also actively dealt with the creative activity as a composer and an arranger. He has written a number of children songs and has been a regular participant in the children,s festivals in Serbia, the Republic of Srpska and Montenegro, where he has received numerous awards. He has published seven CDs with jazz, children and pop music, the two copyright  song books for children (Zoka and The Musical Fairytale), and the Collection of instrumental compositions (Misty).
