OLGA LJAHOVA PETROVIĆ

OLGA LJAHOVA PETROVIĆ (1958) graduated in Piano at Ural State Conservatory M. Musorgski in Sverdlovsk, the Russian Federation, in the class of prof. T. Makohi (1983), obtaining the title of a professor, a soloist, orchestra and chamber musician. After her studies, she worked as an accompanist at Sverdlov Academic theatre, A. Lunačarski for the opera and ballet. Since 1990, she has lived in Niš, where from 1992 she worked at Music College as a Senior lecturer of the subject Score sight-reading and the Introduction to the Piano literature, and was the accompanist at Department of Strings (violin, viola) until 2002. Since then, she has worked at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, firstly as the Professional Associate at the subject Score sight-reading and Piano accompaniment, and since 2004 as the Individual artistic Associate, the accompanist of string orchestra at bachelor and master studies. She has performed as a soloist, and has realized a remarkable music cooperation with many artists. Her prominent concerts are: The Premiere concerts with the Niš Symphony Orchestra- The evening of Serbian composers (Radenković, Jaćimović) and Musica viva– concert of J. S. Bach in f-minor; the Cycle of concerts with the winners of prizes at I International festival of wind instrumentalists in Novi Sad; the National Museum in Kraljevo, III International festival of classic guitar, Niš 2002, The evening of Viola, IV International competition of string musicians, II Violin marathon, The evening of Violin music, the Spiritual colloseum on the occasion of the World Day of Music.
