Opera “The Barber of Seville”

The National Theatre in Niš, Niš Symphony Orchestra and the Faculty of Arts in Niš prepared yet another opera on the National Theatre stage, by joining forces. After a very successful operetta “Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss, which announced setting up of the opera scene in Niš after 50 years, the preview performance of Rossini’s opera “The Barber of Seville” was held on 20th February 2015 at the Niš Theatre scene, whereas the premiere of the opera performed by Faculty of Arts in Niš students and professors, Niš Symphony Orchestra and the National Theatre was held on 23rd February 2015. The opera was performed under the conductorship of Milena Injac and directed by Ivan Vuković.
