Accordion students from the class of full professor Nikola Peković have achieved notable results at renowned international competitions, confirming the high level of performing and artistic quality that is nurtured at the Faculty of Arts in Niš:

Mirko Šunjevarić, a first-year student at the UAS, won I place at VI international BCO festival, organized on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the British College of International Accordionists (Great Britain), held in an online format.

Nemanja Čamagic, a student at the MAS, won III place at the International Competition “Akkordeon Grenzenlos” in the two-stage Senior Classic category without age limits, held from 7th to 12th April 2026 in Trossingen (Germany).

Nemanja Čamagic, a student at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, won I place at X International Competition “Viva Accordion”, held on 29th March 2026 in Aleksinac (Serbia).

These results are a confirmation of the dedicated pedagogical work, as well as the continuity of the success of accordion students at the Faculty of Arts in Niš on the international stage.
