Opening of the exhibition "Art & Design" by professors and doctoral students of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Technical University of Sofia organized by the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš was held on Thursday 24th November 2016 at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a st. The exhibition realized within international cooperation between the Faculty of Arts and Technical University in Sofia is open until 19th December 2016.

Exhibition of students of Department of Applied Arts of Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, was opened in the creative activity venue DELI in Niš, on Thursday, 1st December 2016, at 7pm. Works realized within the course Graphic Communications (supervisors: Anita Milić, Assistant Professor and Miljana Radenković, assistant), represent a variety of visual interpretations of the theme Position of people with disabilities, within the project I say: NO!, all in cooperation with the Association Action and Support from Niš.

Ceremony marking the Day of Faculty of Arts, University of Niš was held on Friday, 2nd December 2016 at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom. Prof. dr Suzana Kostić, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and prof. dr Dragan Denić, Vice-Rector for Quality Assurance of the University of Niš addressed the audience at the ceremony. On this occasion, the Faculty took the opportunity to acknowledge by awards those that built themselves into the foundations of this scientific and artistic institution and persistently contributed to the Faculty development and affirmation. The Faculty of Arts in Niš Council, awarded the Faculty Plaque, as a high recognition to: Narodne Novine Ltd., the company IDEA and City Municipality Pantelej. An appropriate gift was handed to a retired professor of the Faculty of Arts – prof. mr Slobodan Jelesijević. Commendations to the Faculty best students were also awarded – to Lazar Šošević, Aleksandar Raos, Miloš Vuković, Luka Simić. Professors, associates and students of Department of Music Arts presented themselves in an authentic artistic expression at a ceremony.
