Professor Perica Donkov, MA a full professor at the Faculty of Arts, is a participant in the third in the row Niš Salon, which was officially opened on Thursday, 15th November 2018, at 7 pm in the Officer,s House in Niš, and will last until 10th December 2018. Niš Salon: 12/2, an exhibition of twelve artists by choice of two selectors is the youngest annual event organized by the Gallery of Contemporary Fine Arts in Niš. The selectors of this year’s Niš Salon: 12/2 are Bojana Burić, a long-time curator of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade and Olivera Vukotić, the curator of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia. In the author’s conception of Bojana Burić, the works of six artists of different generations were presented: Dragoslav Knežević, Perica Donkov, Nemanja Ladjić, Mariela Cvetić, Milena Putnik and Nina Todorović. Milica Antonijević, Vukašin Milović, Miodrag Mladjović, Miroslav Lazović, Ervin Ćatović and Goran Čpajak are artists whose works are united by the choice of Olivera Vukotić. Through a different attitude towards the world and the position of artists in it, as well as a different attitude in relation to the artistic task and work, this year’s two selections of the Niš Salon do not only reflect the general dispersivity of contemporary artistic activities, but also two recognizable orientations on the domestic art scene.
