Perica Donkov, full professor at the Faculty of Arts, participates at 6th International Biennial Exhibition of Fine and Visual Arts “Library – Open Book of the Balkans” in Čačak. The theme of this year’s event is “DIALOGUE – I love the art of others” featuring 72 artists from 21 countries. The opening was held on Saturday, 10th November, at 6 pm in the Great Hall of the Cultural Center in Čačak, and the exhibition was set up in the exhibition premises of the Cultural Center, the National Museum Gallery and the depot of the Inter-municipal Historical Archives in Čačak, and is opened until 10th December 2018. The exhibition is organized by the Center for Visual Research “Circle” and the Cultural Center Čačak, under the auspices of the City of Čačak and the Republic Ministry of Culture. The artistic manifestation of the artists of the Balkan region and the visiting countries “Library – Open Book of the Balkans” was founded in 2006 and is held every second year in Čačak. The exhibition was designed and launched by the painter Božidar Plazinić, whose motive, according to him, was to be “a bridge over the walls that separated the Balkan peoples in a tragic time.”
