A multimedia exhibition and a concert entitled “Recollection on Konstantin Babić and Paja Jovanović” on the occasion of the 90th birthday of music artist Konstantin Babić and the 60th anniversary of the death of painter Paja Jovanović were held on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a. The Faculty of Arts in Niš Library, as part of its informative, educational and publishing activity, by preparing and studying archival material organized a biographical exhibition on Serbian artists, as well as a catalogue-bibliography of the two great artists. As a spiritual, cultural and material tradition, the biographical exhibition and bibliographical references represent the systematized and fully elaborated artistic, scientific, pedagogical and published work of these excellent authors from Serbia. Bio-bibliographic processing has formed a unique source of information, from data of which as sources, the written and artistic word as well as manifestations, artistic and scientific works speaking about these artists are permanently recorded. Also, as a significant point of the project realization is the Faculty of Arts concert activity, with the Faculty teachers and associates arranging the performance of compositions by Konstantin Babić, for which the Faculty has acquired copyrights for the life of a famous composer.
