Scientific Symposium “Traditional Aesthetic Culture: Image and Letter” at the University of Niš

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASА Branch in Niš are organizing a scientific symposium “Traditional Aesthetic Culture: Picture and Letter” on Friday, 9^th November 2018, at 11 am in the Multimedia Room no. 8 at the University of Niš.

This time, at TRADITIONAL AESTHETIC CULTURE Symposium, with the thematic concretization of PICTURE and LETTER, will be talked about the beginnings of cinema in the Balkans, with a special emphasis on the beginnings of cinema in our region, until the end of the Second World War.

After the introductory announcements, the participants of the symposium will present their works from various fields of science, ranging from linguistics, ethnology and folklore, through the theory and aesthetics of literature and film, musicology, aesthetics of fine arts, visual and digital arts, and ultimately, to the philosophy of painting.
