After examining the aesthetic dimension of the house (2005), everyday life and the holidays (2006), the body and clothing (2007), bread (2008), game (2009), eros (2010), the garden (2011), within the project The traditional aesthetic culture of Serbs, the participants of the symposium will focus their attention on the historical, mythological-religious, symbolic, folklore, economic, linguistic and dialectological, culturological, aesthetic and touristic dimension of the CRAFT, to do research of the place and function of the craft in pre-industrial, industrial and post-industrial societies (with a special reference to the early Byzantine period), especially with regard to their handmade, technical and artistic nature as well, and their symbolic significance of identity and their place in the critical examination of mythological, ideological and utopian constructing of a model of desirable authentic human work.
