SENKA SIMONOVIĆ

SENKA SIMONOVIĆ (1984) graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 2007, in the class of prof. Svetlana Bogino. For two years she upgraded her skills in Paris with the eminent professor and pianist Eugen Indjić. Currently, she is at her specialist studies at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, in the class of prof. Aleksandar Serdar. She has won numerous national and international awards, both in solo and piano duo categories, where the First Award of EPTA Piano Competition dedicated to the works of Scriabin and Bartok (Belgrade, in 2005) can be considered as one of the most prominent. She has attended the master classes of the renowned pianists and pedagogues V. Krajnjev, M. Voskresensky, D. Baškirov, D. Alexeev, S. Počekin, F. Gottlieb, K. Bogino and V. Ogarkov. As one of the participant at the National Concert Season 2008/2009, she held concerts in Niš, Kruševac, Vranje, Leskovac and Kraljevo. Besides the numerous concerts in the country, she has performed in Kotor (Montenegro), Chioggia, Atri (Italy) and Nice, Paris (France). Currently, she is employed as an Artistic Associate at the Department of String instruments at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
