TANJA PETROVIĆ DjORGOVSKA

TANJA PETROVIĆ DjORGOVSKA, MA (1968) passed her entrance exam at the State Conservatory in Minsk (Belarus) when she was 17. She studied and obtained her MA degree at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Istvan Varga. She has performed as a soloist, a chamber and orchestra musician at many orchestras, and had concerts throughout former Yugoslavia, as well as in Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Austria, Greece. She has cooperated with the most renowned musicians of European territory: N. Kecman, I. Varga, M. Jasvili, R. Kinka, J. Stančul, M. Jagušt, A. Šurev, A. Krastev. During her career, she has tried herself in different music genres and sublimed various experiences in the field of classical, national, avant-guard and rock music. She has performed in the prestigious halls of the European continent: the Berlin Filharmony Hall, the Conservatory Tchaikovsky, the Vatroslav Lisinski Hall in Zagreb, the Sava-centre, the Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade. She has realized lasting recordings for Radio-Television Novi Sad, Radio Zagreb, Radio Kopar and Radio Niš. In 1997, she was the Assisstant at the Academy of arts in Novi Sad and at the same time engaged as a solo cellist of Niš Symphony Orchestra. Since 2003, she has worked at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. She enrolled for her doctoral studies in 2008, in the class of prof. A. Krastev. Currently, she is in title of the Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.  In 2010, due to her contribution to the shaping of the social life in Serbia and the building of the positive social values, she was listed in the Lexicon „Serbian Who is Who“, the Institute for the textbooks, Department of Lexicography, Belgrade.
