VESNA RILAK-STANIMIROVIĆ

VESNA RILAK-STANIMIROVIĆ, MA (1961), graduated and obtained her MA degree at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skoplje, in the class of prof. Ljubomir Gospodinov. She has upgraded her skills in the class of prof. Ognjan Stančev in Sofia. She was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Radio-Television Ljubljana, with which she performed at more than 200 concerts in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Austria, Germany, Italy. She has cooperated with a great number of European conductors and soloists. She was a viola leader at Niš Symphony Orchestra and participated in all premiere and pedagogical concerts. She was a leader of the viola section of the String Chamber Orchestra of KPGT Theatre, as well as of the String Chamber Orchestra Constantinus, with which she has performed at concerts in Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria. During last ten years, she has performed as a soloist with a piano accompanist Hristina Vuković, holding together numerous concerts in the country and participating in many festivals, such as: Niš International Music Festival (NIMUS), The Gallery of Serbian Academy of Science and Art (SANU) in Belgrade, October Music Festival in Kragujevac (OKTOH). The prestigious awards that her students have received at the competitions and festivals testify about her pedagocical work. In 2001, she was a jury member at Nataša Stanojević,s defending her doctoral art project at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. She has recorded for Radio-Television Skoplje. Currently, she is in title of the Associate professor at Department of String Instruments, at Viola – as the main subject.
