Works by Paulina Aleksić and Natalija Djordjević, students of the Department of Applied Arts, under the mentorship of Slavica Dragosavac, full professor and Jovana Nikolić, assistant, were selected to participate in the poster exhibition of young designers under the slogan “ALIBI”, the eighth edition of the FLUID design forum in Montenegro.

At the regional competition for young graphic designers, students of design and architecture, photographers and visual artists, 39 posters were selected from 32 authors from the countries of the region – Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania. Among 10 selected young authors from Serbia are the works of two students from the Faculty of Arts in Niš. The jury consisted of renowned designers Mirko Ilić (USA), Borut Wild (SRB), Dejan Kršić (CRO), Ana Matić and Nikola Bada Radonjić (MNG). This year’s edition of the FLUID design forum will address ethical dilemmas in contemporary design practices. It will consider all the ways in which design creates instead of solving problems. Tactics used by designers – consciously or unconsciously – to provide an alibi for acting contrary to their ethical beliefs will be reviewed. Due to the epidemiological situation, the festival will be held in October, and the date of the exhibition will be announced later.
