Faculty of Arts, University of Niš organized a four-day workshop on stop-motion animation, from Friday 3rd March to Monday 6th March 2017 in the premises of Department of Applied Arts. The workshop of animated film will be held by MarijaVulić, artistic director of the Festival of Animated Film – Animator fest Jagodina. Coordinators of the workshop: Anita Milić and Miljana Radenković. Playing is the first animated film workshop to be held at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. It was derived from the need to supplement classes on the subject Graphic Communications with another activity that will enable students with an invaluable experience, acquired knowledge and skills in this area by competent presenter, Marija Vulić. With new expression in digital medium, animator Marija Vulić and 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students and the Department of Applied Art master students are starting playing with their creative horizons. By exhibiting storyboards, students have shown a clear difference in the way of thinking and expression in each of them, while in the process of creating an animated film they are acting as a team that creates with the aim of promoting the film animation.
