ZORAN ILIĆ

ZORAN ILIĆ (1960) finished the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1985 at the subjects of Graphic Communications, in the class of prof. M. Ćirić and Lettering, in the class of prof. S. Fileki. For a short period, he was teaching Drawing at Teacher-training College in Belgrade. Since 1987, he worked as a professor of Lettering at the School of Graphics and since 1990 he worked at the School of Design in Belgrade. He was an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Priština in 1995. Currently, he is the Associate professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš at the subjects Lettering and Lettering Basics. He is the author of the monograph Calligraphy and Cyrillic calligraphy. He is a member of the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDUS). He has exhibited in 18 solo and 45 group exhibitions in the country and abroad. Solo exhibitions: in 1994- the Belgrade City Library; in 1996- the Graphic Association, Belgrade; in 2010- The Pavilion in the Fortress, Niš; in 2012- the National Museum in Kragujevac; in 2013- the Gallery Velimir A. Leković, Bar; in 2013- the Institute for the Study of Cultural Development, Belgrade. Group exhibitions: in 1995- New York; in 1998- San Francisco; in 2001- Lettering in Serbia, the Progress Gallery, Belgrade; in 2011- Poetry as fate – Branko Miljković, the National Museum, Niš; in 2012- the Cyrillic Culture (the International Exhibition of Calligraphy), Belgrade Fair; in 2013- the Exhibition of paintings from the Colony in Studenica, Kraljevo; in 2013- Niš Drawing, the Gallery Serbia. At the international competition ART 95 in New York City, he was chosen from the selection of TOP 70 WINNERS EXIBITION.
