ZORAN STANISAVLJEVIĆ

ZORAN STANISAVLJEVIĆ, MA (1972) graduated in Conducting in 2001 at the Faculty of Arts in Priština, in the class of prof. Jovan Šajnović, and obtained his MA degree in 2006 at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Jovan Šajnović and prof. Darinka Matić–Marović. He was the Assisstant Conductor of the Academic Choir of Students’ Cultural Centre (SKC) of the University of NIš from 1999 – 2004. In 2004, he founded the Female Choir of  Students, Cultural Centre in Niš. With these ensembles, he has performed in the Republic of Srpska, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Belarus, Spain and Italy. During season 2002/3, he was engaged as the Assisstant Conductor of Niš Symphony Orchestra. Apart from that, he has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of Serbian Army Stanislav Binički –Belgrade, the Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, the Orchestra ofStudents’ Cultural Centre (SKC) Niš and the Chamber Orchestra Imperio, in foundation of which he participated in 2010. He has won numerous awards, among which are: the Golden medal in the category of Female choirs at the International choir festival in Bijeljina (the Republic of Srpska) in 2007, the Award for the best performed overall program at the International Choir Festival (IHS) in 2008 in Niš, the prize for the best choir in the category of female choirs at the International choir festival in Maribor, Slovenia 2011.  In 2010 in Niš, during the choral week of the European Choir Association, he was chosen to be the Vocal pedagogue of the Eurochoir. He has been a member of the competent juries at the festivals in the country. He has cooperated with the National theatre in Niš and participated with the Female Choir in several documentary film projects. During 2004–2010, he was a member of the artistic Council of the International Choir Festival in Niš. He has realized a cooperation with the eminent soloists from the country and abroad. From 2012 he has taken over the leadership of the Academic Choir of the Student,s Cultural Centre of the University of Niš as conductor and artistic director. With this ensemble he has won two prestigious prizes “Vojislav Ilić” in the category of big choirs and conductors at the festival “Choirs among frescoes” in 2013. Within the international projects, he has achieved successful cooperation with the choir “24” from York, United Kingdom, and the choir of the New Bulgarian University in Sofia (IPA project). With this ensemble he has performed in Vienna, Austria (2013), Pernik, Bulgaria (2013), Tetovo, Macedonia (2014), Prijedor, Republic of Srpska (2014) Poznan, Poland (2015). Since 2012, he has been engaged as a guest conductor in Niš Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated with the orchestra Amorozo from Leskovac. Currently, he works as Associate professor at the faculty of Arts in Niš and is Head of Department of music art.
