Prize awarding to students of undergraduate and master academic studies in Painting for the academic year 2023/2024

On 7th June 2024, the committee for awarding prizes to students of undergraduate and master academic studies in Painting evaluated all the works exhibited at the Annual Exhibition of students of the Department of Fine Arts and made an unanimous decision to award the following prizes:

Award for the overall artistic results achieved in the master academic studies in Painting

Nikola Milanov, master student of academic studies, for the cycle of paintings and drawings, mentor Katarina Djordjević, MA, full professor

Award for the best painting in the undergraduate academic studies of Painting

Aleksandra Milutinović, fourth-year student, mentor Katarina Djordjević, MA, full professor

Prize for the best drawing in the undergraduate academic studies of Painting

Uroš Milinčić, third-year student, course professor DA Nikola Marković, Assoc. professor

Award for small format drawing “Katarina Radojlović” for I & II-year students of UAS, Painting

Marko Stevanović, II year student, course professor Vladan Randjelović, MA, Assoc. professor

The committee unanimously decided to commend Anastasija Milićević, IV-year student, for the author’s artistic expression mentor Bratislav Bašić, MA, full professor and course teacher Jelena Kitić, MA, Assoc. professor.

Success of accordion students in Portugal

At 27th International Accordion Competition in Alcobaça (Portugal), students in the class of prof. Miljan Bjeletić, MA, achieved remarkable success. Fourth- year student Stefan Dimitrijević won I place in the “Senior” concertist category, while student Veljko Jović won II place in the same category. The competition was realized in two stages. Stefan Dimitrijević was invited by the organizers to hold a solo concert next year in Portugal at the same competition, as well as at the competition in Mons (Belgium).

Awards for chamber music students at VII International Music Festival “Vlasina Spring”

At VII International Music Festival “Vlasina Spring”, the Faculty of Arts in Niš students won the following awards:

I1-TRIO: Andjela Antić, MAS solo singing, Nikola Tomić, MAS clarinet and Tijana Miletić MAS piano

   -TRIO: Jelena Stamenković, III-OAS violin, Sara Hristov, II-OAS violin and Andrijana Živković, III-OAS piano

I3 -TRIO: Teodora Živković, III-OAS flute, Neda Stamenković, I-OAS viola and Andrijana Stajić, I-OAS piano

New success of Accordion students on the international stage

After the success in Portugal, at the recently held 18th International Accordion Competition in Murska Sobota (Slovenia), fourth-year student Stefan Dimitrijević in the class of prof. Miljan Bjeletić, MA, won in the oldest category. Also, Veljko Jović won I prize. Stefan Dimitrijević was invited by the organizers to play a solo concert in Murska Sobota the next year.

I prize for chamber music students at XI International Piano Competition ULJUS

Another I prize went to the chamber ensemble “Musique per trois” in the class of prof. Anqa Veličković Igić, consisting of Jovana Blagojević-flute, Ilija Jovanović-cello and Vasilije Glavašević-piano. This time, success was achieved at XI international piano competition ULJUS 2024, where they competed as the youngest ensemble in V category-Chamber Music.

Three different international competitions and three I prizes, that’s the score of this team that just finished the first year of undergraduate studies.
