Success of students at II International Competition of Young Pianists and Solo Singers “Dr. Miloje Milojević” – Kragujevac

At the just concluded II International Competition of Young Pianists and Solo Singers “Dr. Miloje Milojević” in Kragujevac, students of Solo singing department in the class of Saša Arsenkov, MA, Assoc. prof, won notable results:

Milana Andrašević, IV year, won I prize and a special prize for the performance of a composition by Dr Miloje Milojević i

Jelena Dragomirović, IV year – III prize.

We owe special thanks to the piano students for the piano accompaniment: Stevan Trifunović and Filip Cincarević.

First prize to Jovani Blagojević at Sirmium music fest

Jovana Blagojević, I year student of UAS in the class of DA Jelena Jakovljević, associate professor, received I prize (96 points) at international competition “Sirmium Music Fest” in Sremska Mitrovica. The piano accompanist was Nikola Cvetković, professional associate.

II prize to Kristina Mančić and Jovana Vojinović at the Sirmium Music Fest

Flute students of III and IV year of UAS, Kristina Mančić and Jovana Vojinović, in the class of DA Jelena Jakovljević, won II prizes at international competition “Sirmium Music Fest” in Sremska Mitrovica. Kristina Mančić won 94 points, and Jovana Vojinović won 93 points. At the competition, Our flute students performed with piano accompanist Nikola Cvetković.

 

Success of accordion students at International Competition

At International Accordion Competition “Viva harmonica” held in Aleksinac on 21st April, students at Accordion department in the class of prof. MA Miljan Bjeletić and prof. Nikola Peković, Aleksa Cvetanović, Stefan Dimitrijević, Petar Bešović and Veljko Jović achieved remarkable results in the student category, winning I prizes. The student category winner is Stefan Dimitrijević, a fourth-year student in the class of prof. Miljan Bjeletić, MA.

 

Exhibition of the Department of Applied Arts students in NKC gallery

The exhibition of works by the Department of Applied Arts students in the field of Spatial graphics will be opened on Friday, 26th April 2024, at 6 pm in Niš Cultural Centre Gallery. The exhibition will feature works created within the study program Graphic Design, under the mentorship of Assoc. prof. MA Sanja Dević, Assist. Jefimije Stoičić, DA and Assoc. prof. Anita Milić.

Guest visiting by Gergana Manova, assistant at the course Wall Painting at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Professor Assen Diamandiev”, Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Gergana Manova, assistant at the course of Wall painting at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Professor Assen Diamandiev” from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, during the training realized within the Erasmus+ program for teacher mobility, stayed at the Faculty of Arts in Niš from 10th to 12th April 2024. As part of the two-day training program, Asst. Gergana Manova attended a class on Wall Painting and was familiar with the process of making mosaics using the direct technique, as well as the materials that can be used. The training was led by Assist. prof. Maja Djurović. On this occasion, a visit was organized by students of II, III and IV year of undergraduate academic studies from Wall painting Department of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Professor Assen Diamandiev”, who visited painting classes, graphic workshops Wall painting workshop at the Faculty of Arts.

Posters by Vera Nikolić and Nadja Stanisavljević at the design forum exhibition “FLUID – Regional Awards for Young Designers 2024” in Montenegro

The posters of Vera Nikolić, a fourth-year student, and Nadja Stanisavljević, a master student at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, Department of Applied Arts, were selected for the international design forum exhibition “FLUID – Regional Awards for Young Designers 2024” in Montenegro. The jury consisting of: Mirko Ilić (USA), Borut Vild (Serbia), Dejan Kršić (Croatia), Nikola Bada Radonjić and Ana Matić (Montenegro) selected 39 posters for the exhibition out of a total of 254, by authors from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina , Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Kosovo and Albania.

The exhibition of selected works will be organized within the program segment “FLUID Expo – FLUID design forum 12/2024”, and the opening will be held on 19th April 2024 at noon, in the gallery “C2”, Faculty of Fine Arts, Cetinje, when the names of three award-winning authors will also be announced.
